In 1994, Canadian Parliament passed Canada’s National Sports Act, making Lacrosse our national summer sport.

Lacrosse is increasing in popularity across the world due to its action-packed, continuous play. As a result of the sport’s growing popularity, Play Lacrosse was established by the Ontario Lacrosse Association (OLA) to promote community sport and help parents locate local lacrosse programs.

Play Lacrosse is here to help introduce you and your family to lacrosse, an exciting, fast-paced, organized team sport. It’s the perfect sport for little ones with lots of energy and older kids looking to learn something new! Your kids will have fun while learning skills fundamental to the sport and life skills that will help them as they grow.

Lacrosse combines soccer-style continuous play, basketball strategy and stick skills you’d use playing hockey. It combines the physical and strategic skills from these sports into one while teaching kids life skills they will use beyond sport.

Ready to play? Our interactive map will help you find a lacrosse club in your area.

Players wishing to play exclusively at the House League level may register with any OLA club, regardless of where they live. Players looking to play Rep must register with their home club.

Is Rep Lacrosse More Your Speed?

OLA clubs offer a variety of indoor (box) and outdoor (men’s field and women's field) rep programs. Click the button below and we'll help you find your home club.
